I have found a couple of biscuit recipes that are so tasty. They are very different so they can be used for a variety of meals.<\/p>\n<p>1. The first is just your average type of biscuit. It resembles a flour type of bread. The 2nd recipe is a sweet potato bacon biscuit. Sooooo good. A friend from my MOPS table brought these and as you can see I&#8217;m all in on these! And sweet potatoes are pretty inexpensive, plus the taste of bacon, how could they not be more perfect?!<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/fitsteph.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/img_3154.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1871\" src=\"http:\/\/fitsteph.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/img_3154.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1536\" \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/fitsteph.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/img_3145.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1870\" src=\"http:\/\/fitsteph.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/img_3145.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1773\" height=\"1773\" \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/fitsteph.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/img_3143-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1875\" src=\"http:\/\/fitsteph.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/img_3143-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1536\" height=\"2048\" \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/fitsteph.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/img_3152-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1874\" src=\"http:\/\/fitsteph.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/img_3152-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1536\" \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/fitsteph.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/img_3153.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1869\" src=\"http:\/\/fitsteph.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/img_3153.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1536\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Bacon Sweet Potato Biscuits<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 large sweet potato or 2 cups mashed<\/li>\n<li>3 tbsp coconut flour<\/li>\n<li>3 whisk eggs<\/li>\n<li>6-8 strips of bacon diced<\/li>\n<li>Leftover rendered fat from bacon<\/li>\n<li>3-4 tbsp chives, thinly diced<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp baking powder<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp garlic powder<\/li>\n<li>Salt and pepper to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Instructions:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\u00a0Preheat oven to 415\u00b0<\/li>\n<li>Poke holes in your sweet potato with a fork<\/li>\n<li>Place in oven and bake 40 minutes or until soft<\/li>\n<li>Once the sweet potato is done baking turn your oven down to 375\u00b0<\/li>\n<li>Cook your bacon until crispy. Then place your cooked crispy bacon on a plate covered with paper towel to soak up excess fat. The fat that is left behind in the pan you will use in your biscuits<\/li>\n<li>After sweet potato his cold for a few minutes pew and place in a bowl and mash with a fork<\/li>\n<li>Add your eggs and mix well with your sweet potato then add your bacon fat and mix well<\/li>\n<li>And your dry ingredients: coconut flour, baking powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Then add your bacon and chives. Mix thoroughly<\/li>\n<li>Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and use a large spoon to drop your biscuits on the sheet, shaping them as needed. Try to make them all equal in size so they cook the same<\/li>\n<li>Pleason oven and cook about 25 minutes<\/li>\n<li>Let cool and top with grass fed butter if you desire.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You get not one, but TWO recipes in this post!
