One is an Italian favorite and the other is one I came up with at the spur of the moment (those can be the best). We are all Italian cuisine lovers and usually have some sort of red sauce with our dinners. I love it. I made stuffed cheese shells (like cheese ravioli), salad, and <a href=\"http:\/\/fitsteph.com\/2011\/12\/meatball-sandwich-recipe.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Italian Parmesan bread<\/a>. The Flanigan&#8217;s brought dairy queen ice-cream cupcakes for dessert! We were going all out! But I promise, they are good!&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\nStuffed Cheese Shells<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\n16 oz container low fat cottage cheese<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\n1 cup mozzarella cheese<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\n1 egg white (or whole egg)<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\n1\/2 cup parmesan cheese<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\n24-26 large pasta noodle shells<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\nCook shells in boiling water according to box directions. Mix all ingredients together. Put in plastic baggie and cut a whole at one tip. Squeeze out cheese mixture into each shell.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\nPasta Sauce<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\n16 oz can tomato sauce<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\n16 oz can diced tomatoes<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\n8 oz can tomato paste<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\n1 tsp Italian seasoning<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\n1 tsp garlic salt<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\n2 tbsp parmesan cheese<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\n1-2 tsp chili powder<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\n1\/2 tsp basil<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\n1 packet stevia or truvia<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\nseveral shakes pepper<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\nSimmer all ingredients on low for 30 minutes. I wanted a chicken salad but didn&#8217;t want something too fatty. This is excellent, really. Just a few ingredients. Cook chicken in skillet with a little chili powder and garlic powder in a small amount of OO (Olive Oil).
