Making my own dressings is something I need to do continually because pretty much all store bought dressings have bad oils in them. My mother in law makes this dressing and it’s so good, but I wanted to not use sugar in it. All I did was sub the sugar for honey. Tastes just as delicious to me!

Ingredients:

1/3 cup honey

1/2 cup white vinegar

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground dry mustard

1 teaspoon grated onion

1 cup olive oil or sunflower oil

1 tablespoon poppy seeds

In a blender or food processor, combine sugar, vinegar, salt, mustard and onion and process for 20 seconds. With blender or food processor on high, gradually add oil in a slow, steady stream. Stir in poppy seeds.

That’s it!
